Maths Olympiad Open second round

Yesterday, was the Open second round for the Singapore Maths Olympiad. I went thinking that the paper will be very difficult and that if i managed to solve one, i will ensure a placing in the National team. I thought that if i whack one i would have booked my place in the national team as is usually the case. However this year, most of the people managed to solve one of the quesions.

I did one full correct and one more but am unsure if its correct. Anyway judging by the number of questions that others did it is close to impossible to get into the national team. Argh... y? y must this happen? arhh..

Can we have more difficult questions that have not been seen? its unfair if people have seen the quesion before.. anyway lets hope that i get in the nat team..
